Egger has been depending on the reliable maintenance and servicing of their facilities by J.Christof for already more than 30 years. In the course of this servicing project, J.Christof has maintained the entire OSB and raw particleboard plant, and replaced and re-welded necessary machine and plant components. The greatest challenge was manufacturing and installing a new pipe elbow on the kiln outlet. This special pipe elbow – with a diameter of 2.5 meters, a height of 15 meters, and a weight of approx. 10 tons – was fabricated on site by our installers within a very short period. Due to the precise and tailor-made prefabrication, the pipe elbow was able to be installed as quickly as possible.
